The suicide attack at the Marriot Hotel is a shame for humanity. These views were expressed by Syed Zia Rizvi former Assistant Secretary General United Nations and Director General Independent Bureau for Humanitarian Issues New York and Sardar Muhammad Tahir Tabassum Executive Director Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD) Islamabad, during the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the two NGOs on the occasion of UN International Day of Peace here.
