Contributions:
Human rights / Social Activist
• As Director, Kashmir Centre Inc. (New York, USA), and Human rights activist have arranged and organized many Seminars and Conferences relevant to the Human Rights in Kashmir. Met countless delegations and representatives from different parts of the world and convincingly propagated the cause of Kashmir in the light of the UN Resolutions for the Right to Self-Determination of the people of the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Successfully organized and led peaceful demonstrations in front of UNO building New York and other places, and Delivered various speeches and memorandums, letters and statements to UN Representatives and media regarding the sensitivities of the Kashmir Dispute, urging them for an early resolve of the long standing problem, both in Pakistan and abroad.
• As a Human rights activist and Social Worker, have been working for the restoration of Human Rights, Community Welfare, Rehabilitation of Women and Orphans and providing educational and health facilities to neglected and poor students of the rural and far flung areas. Introduced the ideas of community welfare and mass awareness amongst the people of Azad Kashmir, at grass root level.
• As widely informed intellectual and outspoken analyst, made valuable contributions towards the political stability of Azad Kashmir, promotion of Human Development and Peace and drawing worldwide attention for the cause of Kashmir. Very much active against army role in both sides of Kashmir.
• Contributed hundreds of articles, research papers and essays on important global and national issues, particularly Human rights and Kashmir at national and international level, in the national and international print and electronic media since 1978.
