Hope for resolution of Palestine and Kashmir Conflicts & Peaceful Religious Coexistence. ---------Analyses by--------- Sardar Muhammad Tahir Tabassum Executive Director Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD) US President Mr. Barack Obama recently launched a new beginning between the US and the Muslim world at the Cairo University Egypt. This relationship has been marked by ongoing mistrust, discord and suspicion since several decades. It has been particularly tense during the last eight years of the Mr. Bush administration. This was due to the fact that after the tragic event of 9 / 11, he started the so-called “War on Terror” in the Muslim countries of Afghanistan and Iraq along with many other notorious deeds against Muslim communities

Islamophobia is not a new phenomenon, it has been there ever since. It is inbuilt in the creation itself. Whether it is religion or something else, presence of both the negative and positive forces are the sum total of the Universe. It is also recognized phenomenon that the divine forces and evil forces have been at war with each other since the very beginning. The evil forces have been created by the same divine decree, therefore, their eternal existence. Therefore, no body should be in doubt that any of these forces can be eradicated. The only thing left is the nature of this conflict and endeavours to remove the superfluous elements, so that the Universe is not taken over by the evil forces alone.
Sardar Muhammad Tahir Tabassum (Brussels) Much against the hyped propaganda by the government quarters that there was no need for an emergency in the country the President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf went against his words and imposed the dreaded emergency against all expectations, in his capacity as Chief of Army Staff under article 232 of the constitution. He abrogated the Constitution of 1973 and issued a Provisional Constitutional Order (PCO) in pursuit of his quest for power. In his address to the Nation on 3rd November 2007 he tried to justify his action by saying that Pakistan was at the brink of a very dangerous situation. It is facing an internal crisis and whatever is happening now has a direct link with the internal situation. He did not elaborate that the real motive behind his action was the removal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry as he held a grudge against him for refusing to step down earlier and staging a successful demonstration which had made him popular amongst the masses causing a sore in Musharraf’s eyes.
